What a life to live

Puerto Morelos Mexico

After a busy couple days working on this website and taking a snorkel trip to Puerto Morelos with some friends, I realized that my idea of busy has certainly changed since we started traveling almost 2 years ago.

I have been waking up surprisingly early lately, the beauty of it is there are no alarms, no appointments, nowhere I have to be. I wake up when my eyes open and begin the day. It is almost a perfect existance. We wandered down to Mega (my favorite shopping center in Playa del Carmen), bought fresh donuts and played with the toys. Then we strolled home in the cool morning air for coffee and donuts.

Now my day begins, with almost whatever I desire as the outcome. I will work on this website today and probably a few other things, but for the most part it is completely open to be whatever it will be.

Viva la life in Mexico!

  1. These posts always make my day a little better…and a little worse.

Better because it makes me realise how insignificant all the cr@p I’m stressing about today is.
Worse, because it makes me realise I’m wasting time worrying about insignificant cr@p.

    1. Stressing about little stuff is only human, I still have to remind myself sometimes that it really doesn’t matter. I think the first time I remember being truly happy was the first time I told myself that shit just don’t matter. Cheer up though, it’s the weekend!
