What an amazing couple days. Always something new just around the corner and it feels like a lifetime packed into a couple days.

Night before last we pulled off the road and found a random spot next to a lake with mostly abandoned houses. We parked up and had the place to ourselves with no lights and shooting stars, clear moon rise over the lake and only night creature noises.

We woke to a beautiful sunny day by the waters edge and took our time with this amazing view.

A few hours later we were parked in the mountains on a grassy knoll with another beautiful starry night (and chips and the movie Handsome for the evenings entertainment).

This morning we found another lake and took Lemonade for her first real offroading in some mud, rocks and wet grass, she handled really well and although slipping around a bit never got stuck once . There was a great little ridge next to the lake and we did some paraglider training followed by a few short flights / hops before cooking a delicious lunch by the lake with only us, a Shepherd and his sheep.

After napping with rain falling on the roof for a couple hours we are now in a little town internetting before heading out to find somewhere new and unknown to sleep.

I can't believe life can be this great. A beautiful woman who shares my passions and interests and keeps life interesting by sharing hers, and the freedom to explore this beautiful world. So grateful.

  1. So happy for you bud. You are really living an amazing life. My wife and I were talking about where to retire to and I told her we will have to run our options by Tyrhone so we can get the inside scoop on our options. So keep it up bud. A lot of us count on you living the dream. And she seems like an amazing woman. Makes me believe that some things are destined to be.
