Weird start to the year. Snow in spring, bed bug attacks, Lemonades first proper breakdown which meant a week in a border town before driving all night to get to Bassano in Italy. Then when I'm seeing my old wing for the first time and getting ready to fly her again, I get bitten by a spider and my foot swells up like a tree stump!
So 2018 has started off by being a bit of a challenge, but through it all we are still having an adventure and living in lemonade is such an amazing way to travel. We drive across countries, sleep next to and hike up mountains, move when we want, and even if my foot doesn't resemble something I can stand on tomorrow, soon enough we will be flying!
Excited to see the world from above in my private seat for one again with Calina flying alongside me 😁. New harness for me and new equipment for Calina. Bring on the paragliding season!

  1. Hmm, as you say an interesting start to the year, but you’ve got to where you want to be now – so onwards an upwards as the saying goes 🤗

  2. Love your positive attitude, and all your photos. Keep an eye on that spider bite, they can turn nasty very quickly – watch out for the tell tale red line – blood poisoning!
Travel safely and may the rest of 2018 be great for you both.

  3. I’m off to Perugia, central Italy. Not an adventure as such, but paragliding somewhere new is always exciting. Flytaly is the organisation. Met the guy who runs it in Morocco and thought I’d give it a go.
